Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team in Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children who have autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped and empowered to help each child, even if you don't currently have experience.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years old; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes for children.
