Job summary

Centria Autism in Virginia Beach is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support the child’s progress.
