Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Physical ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to ensure consistent implementation.
