Job summary

NOVA - ABA in Greenville, NC is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will be supported by Board‑Certified Behavior Analysts and will learn to implement treatment plans and collect data on progress.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and ongoing training; travel within Greenville may be required, with opportunities to advance as a Registered Behavior Technician within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Pass a background check
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must become a Registered Behavior Technician within first 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one teaching to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Provide safe environment for clients with constant supervision
• Interact with clients in a positive, therapeutic manner
• Follow the clinic-wide schedule for daily events (e.g., circle time, snack)
• Implement treatment plans under supervision of BCBA
• Collect data on client behaviors electronically
• Update caregivers on client’s daily progress at pick-up
• Create personal goals and review ethics with supervisor monthly
• Develop learning materials and provide breaks for other BTs
• Maintain confidentiality for all client
• Complete assigned trainings on ABA and BT training
• Comply with clinic policies and procedures
