Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, and you’ll join a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Collaborate with a team to support each child’s goals.
