Job summary

Centria Autism in Suffolk, VA is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, and help reduce challenging behaviors.

The role includes training provided, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
