Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a Behavior Technician BT to work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years in a center-based setting. You’ll deliver ABA therapy under supervision, build skills through play, and track progress using ABA technology.

What You’ll Do:

You'll work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism, in a center-based environment. Day to day, that means:

• Delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), guided by individualized treatment plans
• Building skills through play, connection, and the kind of presence that helps a child feel safe enough to try
• Tracking progress and documenting sessions using ABA technology
• Creating a safe, positive environment for every child you work with
• Preparing for your RBT certification exam within your first 45 days

  • No RBT yet? Start at $17.00-$18.00/hour with paid training to become an RBT in 45 days
  • RBT certified? Start at $18.50/hour, with opportunities to grow to $23.50/hour

What we’re looking for:

• Full-time availability Monday - Friday, between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Reliability - showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks
• Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days
• Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services - experience with children is a plus
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment - we'll prepare you
• Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed
