The role supports adults with special needs via community and home-based services, collaborating with families to implement behavior support plans. Requirements include a Masters degree (or PA Behavior Specialist license), at least 2 years' experience with Autism/IDD, FBA training (or willingness to obtain), and a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities.
• Masters degree or PA Behavior Specialist license as specified.
• Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) training or willingness to complete during application process.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance for service delivery.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Observe participants in various settings and collaborate with family and team to implement a positive behavior support plan.
• Complete FBAs through functional assessments of presenting issues.
• Conduct training on implementation of behavior support plans with staff, families and caretakers.
• Complete required paperwork including data collection, progress reporting, and planning materials.
