Qualifications

• BCBA or MO LBA preferred.
• Missouri Teaching Certification in Area of Application.
• Preferred experience as a teacher in a low-incidence setting programming for students with autism.
• Preferred experience of 3 years supporting students with autism.

Responsibilities

• Consult with district teams for students identified with autism or suspected of having autism.
• Observe students and support problem-solving with teams.
• Assist teams with success plans and function-based thinking.
• Assist teams in developing Functional Behavior Assessments and related Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Support program and curriculum development.
• Provide training to staff on high leverage practices.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and research in autism and Applied Behavior Analysis.
