Job summary

Helping Hands Family in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Autism ABA Therapist (RBT) to deliver one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children with autism in clinics, home, or community settings.

You will support goals set by a BCBA, collect data, and help children reach developmental milestones while joining a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s in human services preferred).
• Comfort working with children.
• Ability to perform walking, running, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication with clients' families.
• Willingness to complete RBT training and pass the exam within 90 days.

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism? Join us as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Helping Hands Family (HHF) and provide personalized, play-based ABA therapy to help children reach their developmental milestones.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with your team to support each child's progress.

We're Looking for Someone With:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree in a human services area preferred).
• Comfort working with children.
• The ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, running, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients' families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete company-provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.

$19 - $22 USD
