Job summary

Americare is seeking an Authorization Specialist to join our Brooklyn-based team. This full-time role requires handling authorization requests for home care services for HMO/Managed Care patients and serving as a bridge between Coordinators of Care and payor companies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and proven homecare/managed care experience, with strong written and verbal communication, and solid computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities
