NG Bailey Group is recruiting a Senior Authorised Engineer / Senior Authorised Person for work on 11kV SAP systems across the North West England. The role involves enabling ground mounted plant changes and underground cables on DNO networks, with clear progression within an established engineering team.

The candidate should hold 11kV SAP authorisation, have DNO network experience, and possess a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Authorised as an 11kV SAP.
• Experience of working on DNO networks, ideally Electricity North West.
• Full UK Driving Licence - Required.
• Asbestos UKARTA course - Desirable.
• Confined Spaces - Desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP services on framework contracts for 11kV ground mounted plant and underground cables.
• Carry out secondary switchgear changes on transformers, RMU, 11kV panels and LV boards.
• Support the project delivery across the North West England with a clear development path.

Freedom are currently recruiting for a Senior Authorised Engineer / Senior Authorised Person, authorised up to 11kV. The main purpose of the role is to provide SAP services on our framework contracts changing ground mounted 11kV plant and underground cables across ENW and SPEN DNO areas. This is a great opportunity to join an established but growing team operating across the North West.

• Voltage levels required - 11kV and above.
• Geographical area to be covered - North West England.
• Type(s) of work - Secondary Switchgear changes working on Transformers, RMU, 11kV panel boards and LV boards. We'll do our best to outline the recruitment process to you ahead of time with plenty of notice. Experience of providing the above duties.
