Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Austin, Texas. The OT will assess and treat patients in acute care settings, develop care plans, and educate families while documenting progress per state and payer guidelines.

Requirements include 1 year of OT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensure. Travel position with 40 hours/week, days shift.

Qualifications

• Must have NBCOT-OTR and BLS certifications.
• 1 year of OT experience preferred; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates.
• Must hold state OT license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' condition and develop a plan of care.
• Manage treatment plans to improve daily living skills.
• Educate patients' family and employer on care needs.
• Document progress and comply with billing and provider reporting.
• Assess home/work environments for accessibility improvements.
