Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Austin, TX. The PT should have 1 year of experience, or 6 months for exceptional candidates, and must hold BLS and state licensing.

The role involves supervising PTAs, billing per facility guidelines, complying with state PT board rules, and collaborating with Medical Center staff to implement a plan of care. Expect 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, travel employment type.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand PT board rules and regulations for the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/plan care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
