The City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department seeks a Program Development Coordinator to oversee the planning, development, and evaluation of programs and events under APR's Austin PARKners partnerships. You will collaborate with partners, track budgets, and report on program performance to strengthen outdoor recreation and community engagement.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of program experience, with strong MS Office skills and the

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required (or substitution per policy).
2+ years of experience in program development, nonprofit partnerships, or city programs.
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present data clearly.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data reporting.
Knowledge of grants/contracts administration and budgeting basics.

Responsabilités

Oversee planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and events.
Lead community needs initiatives and outreach aligned with mission and budgets.
Collaborate with internal/external partners to plan program themes.
Monitor delivery of programs/events and provide regular progress reports.
Support sponsorships, grants, and budget discussions with director.
