Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Regional Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance across Amazon Pharmacy sites in the US. The role, based in Austin, TX, will provide strategic direction and operational support to expand environmental programs during growth and new site openings.

Travel may be up to 50% to partner with site teams. You will steward regulatory reporting and environmental governance, drive improvements, and build a high-performing environmental team as operations scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site environmental compliance across Amazon Pharmacy sites in the US.
• Ensure adherence to air emissions, storm-water, waste, wastewater regulations and reporting including federal, state and local requirements.
• Develop relationships with business partners to support compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Foster an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.
• Ensure conformance with Amazon Environmental policies through effective execution of Environmental Procedures.
• Develop procedures for regulatory needs and business growth support.
• Provide regulatory review for future expansion and strategic environmental guidance.
• Collaborate with operations, projects and support teams to enable change management.
• Grow to manage a team to support business needs.
• Facilitate root cause analyses for environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits as necessary.
• Measure and analyze site performance against requirements.
