Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Manager of Process Engineering in Austin, TX on-site, with relocation assistance available. The role offers $150,000–$160,000 base salary plus annual bonus, and leads a team to move new products from design into production across multiple lines.

You’ll guide the team technically, own process validation and CAPA deliverables, and drive improvements in a regulated medical device environment. On-site work with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in process/manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years managing an engineering team.
• Hands-on with measurement/inspection tools and profilometers.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Serve as primary process and manufacturing expert on cross-functional teams.
• Drive design transfer of new products into production, in-house and at suppliers.
• Provide DFM input on engineering prints and communicate process capabilities to design teams.
• Guide process capability assessments and implement process improvements.
• Design and develop processes, tooling, fixturing and automation.
• Write and review process validation protocols and reports.
• Ensure documentation meets quality system requirements (BOMs, routers, FMEAs).
• Own deliverables tied to CAPA, project management and quality systems.
• Plan and lead manufacturing technical reviews and oversee development builds.
• Participate in lean reviews and Kaizen events, and contribute to IP submissions.
