Job summary

Austin, TX-based medical device manufacturer seeks a Manager of Process Engineering to lead a seasoned team through new product introductions and transfers to production. You will guide design transfer, validate processes, and ensure manufacturability with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include 10+ years in process/manufacturing engineering, 3+ years in leadership, and hands-on experience with CMMs, vision systems, and GD&T. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in process/manufacturing engineering with hands-on leadership.
• 3+ years leading an engineering team; proven project ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Drive design transfer of new products into production, with suppliers as needed.
• Provide DFM input on prints and communicate process capabilities.
• Plan and lead manufacturing technical reviews and CAPA activities.
• Oversee validation, documentation, and quality-system deliverables.
