Job summary

Tier1usa in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Janitorial Cleaner/Porter to clean the building and support operations. The ideal candidate will work in assigned areas independently, maintaining cleanliness in offices, restrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, food production, dishwashing, and warehouse.

This role requires physical stamina: able to lift and move 50+ lbs, stand and walk 8+ hours, and adapt to a busy, high-stress schedule that may include nights, weekends, or holidays.

Job description

Janitorial Cleaners/Porters are responsible for cleaning the building, the ideal candidate will work in the assigned areas independently in an organized manner. These areas include but are not limited to the main office, restrooms, the cafeteria, main kitchen, food production, dish washing stations, warehouse, etc.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work in a stressful, time oriented work environment.
• Must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities.
• Comply with all work rules and regulations.
• Must be able to carry and lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 50+ lbs for 500 ft.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours.
• Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
• Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment.
• Must be able to work in a high stress environment with changing priorities.

Requirements:

• Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise.
