Job summary

Solidus Technical Solutions seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join the Tech Ops IV team in Aurora, CO, supporting a 24x7 system. You will implement IA processes, develop security policies, and assess vulnerabilities across ACAS, ArcSight, Splunk, HBSS, UAM, and CTM, while managing authorizations for 3 assets with different classifications.

The role requires active TS/SCI w/POLY, a STEM degree, and at least 5 years in government security roles; DoD 8570 IAT

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI w/POLY clearance is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
10 years' experience in lieu of formal degree.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a security position for government or government contractor in Intelligence Community.
Experience with DoD RMF/IA processes and security controls.

Responsibilities

Implement IA processes, develop documentation across SDLC via RMF in ServiceNOW.
Develop and document security policies and SSPs across program.
Analyze vulnerabilities and compliance risks using ACAS, ArcSight, Splunk, HBSS, UAM, CTM.
Monitor risk scores and keep them within acceptable levels for asset classification.
Manage system authorization and accreditation for multiple assets across classifications.
Review program-level documentation and provide recommendations.
Assess risk based on threats and vulnerabilities and report BoE at set intervals.
Remediate security weaknesses tracked via POA&M and report milestones.
Brief leadership on security posture and action items.
Collaborate with system engineers, admins, developers, and IA professionals.
