Job summary

Solidus Technical Solutions, LLC in Aurora, CO is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support a 24x7 operational system. The ISSE will perform security assessments, implement RMF processes, and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity directives.

The role requires active TS/SCI w/POLY clearance, a STEM or IT/security degree, and DoD 8570.01 IAT level 2 certification. Minimum 5 years in IC/government security is preferred, with occasional after-hours support expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/POLY clearance is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT/Information Security/STEM or related field.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT level 2 or greater certification.
• Experience with RMF, SSP, and security policy documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement Information Assurance (IA) processes and RMF in ServiceNOW.
• Develop, implement, and document security policies and System Security Plans (SSP).
• Analyze vulnerabilities and compliance risks using ACAS, ArcSight, and Splunk.
• Monitor risk scores and maintain acceptable risk levels for assets and RELs.
• Coordinate system authorization and accreditation for multiple assets across classifications.
• Review program-level documents and recommend security improvements.
• Assess risk and generate Body of Evidence for Monitors at 7, 30, 90, 365 day intervals.
• Lead remediation efforts for POA&Ms and track milestone completion dates.
