Capital B Augusta is seeking a part-time Community Engagement Ambassador in Augusta, Georgia. You will build local relationships, gather community needs, and contribute ideas for beat reporting. The role helps grow our newsletter audience and supports offline efforts like radio and print.

The position is a contract, in-person role with 20-25 hours per week and compensation of $17–$20 per hour. Journalism experience is a plus, but not required.

• Develop sources and learn issues in and around Augusta.
• Write, shoot video, and contribute to Capital B Augusta.

• Deliver the print edition to community spaces across the city.
• Assist with radio broadcasts and help host events.
• Attend meetings with or without the Augusta Editor.
