Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a hardworking Auger Cast Pile Laborer to join our deep foundations team in Harrah, OK. In this role, you will provide critical ground support during drilling and grouting operations.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning grouting equipment, handling high-pressure grout hoses, installing steel reinforcement cages, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free job site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in the field or related area.
• Strong working knowledge, skills and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
• Follow instructions given by superintendents, foreman and other experienced crew.
• Perform all required duties with the first focus on safety.
• Responsible for keeping work areas clean and in orderly conditions.
• Read and understand warning signs, operating instructions for equipment, jobsite safety rules and jobsite policies.
• Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities; or determine time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
• Inspect subordinate's work for compliance and/or deficiencies.
