Job summary

Waterford Public Schools invites applications for an Auditorium Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role covers scheduling and technical support for events at Waterford High School and district venues.

Responsibilities include coordinating event calendars, ensuring lighting/audio/visual coverage, monitoring equipment, and reporting needs to the Director of Technology; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience needed. Training will be provided.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of events between Rec and Parks, Waterford High School and other Waterford Public Schools events.
• Coordinate and ensure appropriate technical coverage for lighting, audio and visual needs for evening events at Waterford High School.
• If coverage cannot be secured from the established on-call list, the Auditorium Coordinator is expected to provide the necessary coverage and will be compensated at the applicable additional hourly rate.
• Monitor the condition and functionality of the equipment and report needs to the Director of Technology.
• Other duties may be assigned.
