The Office of Mineral Resources is looking for an Auditor Supervisor in Baton Rouge to oversee revenue audits and lead a team of auditors. Office of Mineral Resources – Mineral Income Division
The Mineral Income Division works closely with the State Mineral and Energy Board's (Board) audit section. This division performs collection and accounting of revenue due to the State from mineral leasing activity and production on State-owned lands and water bottoms on behalf of the Board.
The division also generates and processes Payor Registers, which are mailed to various payors for verification of State Decimals. Mineral Income conducts audits of payor companies, including major companies every three years, with auditors based in Houston, Dallas, Texas, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Location & Position Information:
This Auditor Supervisor position is located in Baton Rouge, LA, within the Mineral Income Division of the Office of Mineral Resources. The role involves responsible revenue and compliance auditing of mineral revenue payments, ensuring correct payments per lease agreements, and supervising subordinate auditors. Work is performed independently with oversight from the Audit Director.
