A leading company seeks an Auditor 1 to enhance their auditing and consulting efforts. The Bureau of Audits, Liquor Control Board Operations is seeking an Auditor 1 to join our team of professionals. This position gives you the opportunity to perform auditing, consulting, and advisory professional journey-level work activities to assist Internal Audit in achieving its mission and service to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). Current college students within 6 months of obtaining their bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply.
As an Auditor 1, you will have the ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team, completing assigned duties of limited scope, and communicating with the audit supervisor or auditor-in charge. You will develop a working knowledge of PLCB functions, auditing, and office techniques, have the opportunity to travel to assigned site locations to interview staff and obtain evidence, as well as participate in interviews of PLCB staff to elicit factual information relevant to the assignment. You will be required to have an extensive working knowledge of software such as MS Excel to gather, interpret, compile, and analyze data pertinent to assignments. Work includes performing fieldwork audit activities to ensure that PLCB policy, designed internal controls, and laws and regulations are adhered to. Upon completion of the audits you will be preparing and organizing the required documentation necessary to support the conclusions reached and the recommendations made.
