Frail Elderly Waiver Auditor - Remote in MA

Position Overview: The Frail Elder Waiver (FEW) Auditor conducts onsite visits for providers delivering Frail Elder Waiver services to SCO enrollees. Responsibilities include tracking, scheduling, and completing audits within six months of provider onboarding, as well as annual onsite audits. The auditor documents findings and reports to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee annual Frail Elder Waiver Attestation Audit and manage related processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, policies, and contractual obligations during audits.

Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, with flexible shifts between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required. Primarily remote with on-site provider visits.

Location: Reside in MA, with flexibility to work remotely and travel within the state.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • 2+ years in healthcare auditing, compliance, or managed care.
  • Experience reviewing contract language.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel 50% within MA.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare adherence methodologies.
  • Experience with state regulation.
Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Reside in MA with a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Reliable high-speed internet access.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit systems.
