Hy-Vee is seeking an Auditing Internship at our Corporate Office in West Des Moines, Iowa. The internship runs mid-May through mid-August 2027, is paid, and will be 40 hours per week Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.
You will assist with financial, operational and compliance audits across corporate offices, subsidiaries and retail locations, help present audit findings to management, and build foundational knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and accounting practices.

We have an auditing internship position available at the Hy-Vee Corporate Office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
The internship will be from mid- May through mid-August in 2027.
This Monday through Friday paid position will be 40 hours per week with the potential for occasional overtime.
Time off for the holidays will be offered along with flexibility in the schedule to allow for more free time if needed.
Assists with financial, operational and compliance audits of the corporate office, subsidiaries and retail locations to determine adherence of policy, procedures and regulations.
Assists in the presentation and review of audit findings with members of management.
This position requires a basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, attention to detail, and accuracy.

High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of two years of relevant college education and working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
