CFS in the Chicago area is seeking a Benefit Plan Audit Supervisor to lead and participate in retirement plan audits within a partner-led team. The position offers a hybrid schedule, strong benefits, and clear career advancement.

You will perform engagement audits, handle documentation reviews, conduct compliance testing, calculate benefits, and supervise staff to ensure high quality work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retirement plan audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree and CPA track in progress or achieved.
• Knowledge of Qualified 401(k) designation or familiarity with DataIR Software is a plus.

• Perform compliance testing for retirement plans.

Overview Of The Benefit Plan Audit Supervisor

• Participate and lead engagement audit and document review
• 5500 for pension and profit sharing/401k plans
• Audit Supervisor performs compliance testing
• Performs benefit calculation
• Audit Supervisor prepares benefit statement
• Supervise staff on performance

Preferred Qualifications For The Benefit Plan Audit Supervisor

• 2+ years’ experience with retirement plan audit
• Bachelors Degree and CPA or track
• Knowledge in Qualified 401k designation or experience with Datair Software is a plus
