Job summary

Santora CPA Group in Newark, DE is seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead a range of engagements for mid-size clients. You will mentor staff, supervise audits, and build strong client relationships while ensuring we meet GAAP/GAAS standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent public accounting audit experience in mid-size companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA license or pursuit.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS with proactive client service.

What You’ll Do:

As an Audit Supervisor, you will take a lead role in servicing a wide range of clients. Your role/function will include the following:

• Work closely with business owners and firm leadership
• Mentor and supervise team members and support their professional growth
• Develop strong client relationships
• Plan, perform, and supervise audit engagements
• Study and evaluate clients’ internal controls
• Assure work is performed in accordance with generally accepted professional and firm standards

What We’re Looking For:

• 5 years of recent public accounting audit experience, with experience in mid-size companies in audit engagement planning, supervising, reviewing, and wrap-up
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• An active CPA license, or actively pursuing it
• Expertise in GAAP and GAAS
• A proactive, relationship-driven approach to client service
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of audit and research software
• Open to adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled tools
