Withum seeks an Audit Supervisor to lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, mentoring staff and coordinating with senior leadership. You will supervise teams, drive client service excellence, and ensure quality in all stages of the engagements.

The role emphasizes strong GAAP knowledge, leadership, and ongoing staff development, with opportunity to travel as needed and participate in a robust benefits program.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA license or working towards CPA certification with parts passed
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsabilidades

• Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement to effectively and efficiently provide world-class client service to clients
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting and the conclusion
• Providing supervision and support to the engagement staff, seniors and supervisors and promote open communication to the engagement partner
• Collaborating with engagement team seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for any legal, regulatory and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
• Creating and tracking engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies that may arise during the audit and conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
• Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader

Job Description:

Withum's Auditing and Attest Engagement services are the cornerstone of our firm. Withum's audit and advisory team possess the expertise necessary to give stakeholders confidence in financial information. This team provides audit services, review and compilation services and other agreed upon audit procedures to a variety of client sizes and industries.

This Audit Supervisor role will be based out of our Houston, TX.You'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, to include supervision/mentoring of staff and building/maintaining relationships with clients.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

The compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $175,000 and varies by location for candidates residing in California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, Oregon, Rhode Island, or Washington. For candidates residing in these states, salary will vary based on candidate's location. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
