Job summary

Armanino LLP in Century City / Los Angeles area is seeking an Audit Supervising Senior to supervise, plan and perform audits, reviews and related engagements. You will lead a team and communicate with managers and clients to ensure high-quality results.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years in public accounting, strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS, and CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting in audit or assurance.
• Experience in supervising Audit staff professionals.
• Demonstrate understanding of applicable U.S. GAAP and GAAS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan and perform audits, reviews, compilations, and various client engagements.
• Lead a team of up to five staff members under supervision of a Manager and/or Partner.
• Demonstrate understanding of workpaper preparation and communicate with engagement team and client personnel.
• Identify, assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client accounting systems.
• Prepare clear, complete, and accurate workpapers; update managers/partners on statuses.
