SEK CPAs & Advisors in York, PA is seeking an Audit Staff to assist with financial statement audits, reviews, compilations and other assurance projects. You will perform testing, evaluate internal controls, and document workpapers while traveling to client sites as needed.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong communication, capable of managing multiple deadlines and handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required or expected.
• 0–2 years’ experience; internship in CPA firm acceptable.
• A desire to obtain CPA license and progress within audit.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow under deadlines.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong community orientation and client service mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Perform audit testing on key financial areas (cash, receivables, inventories, fixed assets, payroll).
• Assist in identifying and evaluating risks within client systems.
• Document and organize workpapers to support audit findings.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve questions.
• Collaborate with audit team members to meet engagement objectives and deadlines.
• Analyze financial data and assess accuracy of client transactions and balances.
• Prepare client financial statements in accordance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Stay updated on accounting/auditing standards and pursue professional development.
