Job summary

Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a talented Audit Services Intern for Summer 2027–Spring 2028. The role involves participating in process walkthroughs to evaluate financial statement risks and controls, documenting walkthroughs, and supporting the control testing process.

You will also engage in corporate activities to learn our industry, organization, and culture. The internship emphasizes an 80/10/10 approach: meaningful work, learning/networking, and shared experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student (junior/senior status) with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Majoring in Accounting, Finance or MIS.
• Must be able to work in-person from our office in West Des Moines, IA.
• 38.75 hours/week during the summer; 10-20 hours/week during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Participate in process walkthroughs to evaluate financial statement risks/controls.
• Document walkthroughs and support staff in the completion of control testing.
• Assist with time reporting and other administrative functions.
