Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our Not-for-Profit practice in the Midwest. The role focuses on planning, leading, and executing assurance engagements for nonprofit clients across Minnesota and Illinois.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, are eligible for CPA, and bring around two years of audit experience. CLA offers a supportive, collaborative culture with strong growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Prepare all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters.
• Assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA exam eligible (preferred)

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our growing Nonprofit industry practice in the Midwest. Locations include any of our CLA offices in Minnesota and Illinois.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Audit Senior Not-For-Profit role:

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $71,000.00 - $124,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: $71,000.00 - $129,000.00
