Job summary

Weaver is seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join the Financial Services practice serving investment fund clients, including Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Real Estate funds. You will lead all audit phases, ensure top client service, and mentor staff in a fast-growing environment.

The role offers opportunities for advancement within Weaver’s largest practice group, with emphasis on mentorship, business development, and collaboration with leadership to drive success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA and 7+ years in public accounting or equivalent.
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Independent thinking and strong decision-making skills.
  • Technical knowledge to supervise managers and senior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of the audit process for financial services clients.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and maintain relationships.
  • Mentor and develop Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and administration initiatives.

Position ProfileWeaver is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Senior Manager to join our growing Financial Services practice, focusing on investment fund clients, including Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Real Estate funds. As the firm's largest individual practice group and one of its fastest-growing service lines, Financial Services offers professionals the opportunity to work with a premier client base while building a rewarding career in a high-growth environment. The Audit Senior Manager has significant opportunities for advancement at Weaver. In this role, you will lead all phases of the audit process, deliver exceptional client service, and foster the professional development of Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors through mentorship, coaching, and training. You will also collaborate closely with firm leadership on business development initiatives and key firm administration efforts, helping drive the continued success of the practice.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA with 7+ years of experience in or more of public accounting experience or its equivalent
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Demonstrates independent thinking and strong decision-making skills
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Managers and Senior Associates in a wide variety of industries

Additionally, The Following Qualifications Are Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
