Job summary

Talnt in Denver seeks an Audit & Assurance Senior to lead engagements from planning through completion and to work directly with client management and firm leadership. You will shape audit strategy, resolve complex issues, and mentor staff while building strong client relationships.

The role offers hybrid flexibility and a clear path toward Manager-level responsibility, with compensation from $110,000 to $130,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public accounting audit or assurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience preparing and reviewing audit workpapers and financial statements.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and junior staff.
• Strong client-facing communication and confidence with management.
• Progress toward CPA licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from initial planning through final delivery.
• Work directly with client management to understand operations, assess risk, resolve audit issues, and keep engagements on schedule.
• Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow statements, footnote disclosures, representation letters, and governance communications.
• Develop audit strategies based on client operations, industry conditions, economic factors, and internal control environments.
• Delegate assignments and provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to staff and junior auditors.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear, proactive communication.
