BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, including planning, fieldwork and wrap-up, and to draft financial statements with disclosures under GAAP. The role requires strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC/PCAOB guidelines, and experience supervising audit staff.

The position involves client contact, evaluating internal controls, and applying BDO methodologies to deliver high-quality assurance services for diverse engagements across public and private clients.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics required or Bachelor's degree in other field with CPA licensing
• CPA exams eligible upon starting employment; CPA preferred
• Master's degree in Accountancy preferred

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial statements with disclosures under GAAP.
• Coordinate day-to-day audit fieldwork and wrap-up activities.
• Document, validate and assess internal control design and operating effectiveness.
• Communicate findings to engagement partner and client audit committee as needed.
• Supervise and review work of Audit Associates while ensuring timetables and budgets are met.
