Glenn Burdette, a growing accounting and consulting firm based in San Luis Obispo, CA, is seeking an Audit Senior to lead audit engagements for diverse clients in line with regulatory standards.

You will apply strong project management, analytical, and communication skills while maintaining excellent client relations in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Openings exist in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, and Santa Maria offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of audit/assurance experience.
• Single audit, not-for-profit, and for-profit audit experience.
• Experience with Caseware, Engagement Manager, and PPC.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self-motivator with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong desire toward career advancement and goal toward future firm ownership.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit/assurance engagements.
• Identify business process risks and develop recommendations based on audits.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.
• Organize and monitor the progress of client engagement in relation to budgets and due dates.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Function as communication channel between senior management, clients, and staff.
