Job Title: Senior Auditor

Location: Louisville, KY- HYBRID Options

Salary: $85k-$130k + bonus and benefits

What You Will Be Doing

Develop audit objectives, plans, scope by reviewing available information and conducting research

Help design, implement, and perform audit procedures and risk assessments based upon audit program

Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standards

Ensure accuracy of financial information

Prepares internal control recommendations

Review and/or assist with preparation of financial statements

Identify and recommend updates to accounting procedures.

Assist as needed with preparation of tax returns for audit and other clients

Mentorship to other staff members and review of their work.

What You Need for this Position

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.

3+ years experience in financial accounting, auditing, or a combination thereof, public accounting required

Strong understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles( GAAP).

Sound understanding of audit theories, principles, and practices

Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and time management skills

Proficient with accounting software.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Competitive compensation $85-125k for 1st year base salary
