Qualifications

• 4-year degree; license eligible.
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing exam.
• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• Must have banking experience, including public banking.
• Strong time management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Leadership, project management and analytical abilities.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to industry clients.
• Proactively engage with clients to gather information and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct tests on internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Discuss findings with Manager and Partner and provide recommendations.
• Learn and grow through coaching and firm-wide development programs.
• Build client relationships and network internally and externally.
• Support team development aligned with Baker Tilly's Care and Teach philosophy.
• Participate in team events and activities promoting work-life balance.
