Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in public accounting audit.
• 4-year degree, CPA eligible or pursuing CPA.
• Experience serving Real Estate/Construction clients.
• Two or more years of experience providing financial statement auditing services within a public accounting firm.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
• Proactively engage with your clients throughout the year to gather needed information and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Play an active role in discussions with the Manager and Partner relative to business recommendations based on testing.
• Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and firm-wide learning programs.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships with clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly CARE and TEACH philosophy.
