Job summary

Verital Advisory Search in Chicago is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team on a hybrid schedule. With 3+ years in public accounting, you will lead engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a diverse client portfolio across manufacturing, distribution, technology, and more.

CPA eligibility preferred. The position offers an $85K–$100K base, 7–10% bonus, unlimited PTO, and office options in Chicago and the North Suburbs, with strong opportunities for

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting Audit & Assurance experience.
• Experience leading engagements with at least one busy season at Senior/Supervisor level.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.

I’m partnering with a Top 100 public accounting firm in the Chicago area that is looking to add a Senior Audit Associate to its growing Audit & Assurance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to continue progressing in public accounting while gaining exposure to a diverse client base, larger engagements, and a firm that offers flexibility and long-term career growth.

What they’re looking for:

• 3+ years of public accounting Audit & Assurance experience
• At least one busy season operating at the Senior/Supervisor level
• Experience leading engagements and mentoring junior staff
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
• Experience with manufacturing & distribution, construction, technology, or M&A-related clients is a plus
