iLocatum in Warwick, RI is seeking an Audit Senior to lead high-quality audit engagements across non-profit, municipal, and small business clients. This position offers on-site work with one remote day per week and flexible hours, plus CPA licensure support.

The candidate should have 5+ years of accounting/auditing experience, single audit experience under Uniform Guidance, and strong skills in GAAS and financial statement prep. CPA licensure pursued is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of accounting and auditing experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Single audit experience under Uniform Guidance and OMB compliance.
• Strong technical skills in audit execution and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency with audit software, financial management systems, and QuickBooks.
• CPA license or actively working toward licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete financial audits for non-profit, municipal, and small business clients.
• Perform single audits in accordance with GAAS and Government Auditing Standards.
• Prepare financial statements, audit workpapers, and supporting documentation with precision.
• Identify audit findings and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
• Supervise and mentor staff auditors to support team development.
• Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver timely, high-quality audit engagements.
