Guidehouse seeks a qualified professional to support DoD audit remediation initiatives, strengthening internal controls and improving audit readiness. You will coordinate between government stakeholders, auditors, and process owners while tracking corrective actions and reporting progress to leadership.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and 3+ years in federal financial statement audits or similar activities.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance (current)
• Three+ years of federal financial statement audits or related work
• Experience with internal controls and audit readiness

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary liaison between auditors and stakeholders, coordinating requests and evidence submissions
• Analyze audit findings and develop remediation strategies including CAPs and MAPs
• Establish remediation milestones and track progress via dashboards and executives reports
• Advise on audit readiness, internal controls, and compliance requirements
• Validate evidence packages for completeness and remediation effectiveness
• Support improvements to business processes to strengthen auditability and sustainment
• Prepare presentations and status reports to support leadership decisions
