Weaver, located in New York, is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Commercial Audit team in the Northeast. This role requires providing exceptional service to clients during all audit phases while mentoring and developing junior associates. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of public accounting experience, a CPA, and the ability to attract and serve clients effectively.

Position Profile

Weaver is looking for an Audit Manager to join our growing Commercial Audit team in the Northeast. An Audit Manager is a driven team player who provides excellent service to clients throughout all phases of the audit while developing, training and mentoring Associates and Senior Associates. An Audit Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and firm administration activities.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting
• Experience working in a wide variety of industries in the commercial space
• Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Managers, Supervisors, and Senior Associates
• Proven ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills
• Experience with a variety of industries and types of audits

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $110,000 to $210,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
