Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Commercial Audit team. The role leads audits, mentors Associates and Senior Associates, and collaborates with firm leadership on business development and firm administration. CPA and 6+ years in public accounting are required.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in Accounting, possess staff development skills, and demonstrate strong relationship management and practice development capabilities across diverse industries.

Position Profile

Weaver is looking for an Audit Manager to join our growing Commercial Audit team. A Weaver Audit Manager is a driven team player who provides excellent service to clients throughout all phases of the audit while developing, training and mentoring Associates and Senior Associates. An Audit Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and firm administration activities.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • 6+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Experience working in a wide variety of industries in the commercial space
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise Managers, Supervisors, and Senior Associates
  • Proven ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Experience with a variety of industries and types of audits
Compensation and Benefits:

At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. We take the time to evaluate our employees' wants and needs and invest our resources accordingly. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. In addition to compensation packages, Weaver offers competitive health benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
