Job summary

Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, is seeking a skilled auditor to manage multiple engagements and build client relationships. You will communicate with partners and staff on expectations and status, while actively marketing services to drive new business.

Expect travel 15-20% as part of delivering high-quality audits and advisory support. The role requires CPA licensure, a Bachelor's in Accounting (Master’s preferred), and significant public accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting auditing projects and client engagements.
• Effective written and verbal communication with partners, staff and clients about expectations and status.
• Active role in marketing firm services to generate new business.
• Ability to foster relationships with coworkers and clients; travel 15–20% of the time.

Position Responsibilities

• Conducting multiple auditing projects and client engagements
• Effectively communicating with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, status of engagements and other matters
• Initiating an active role in marketing our firm services resulting in new business
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
• Traveling 15-20% of the time

Qualifications

• Developed specialties in Non-Profit
• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Master’s degree preferred
• Licensed CPA
• 5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
• Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants
• Analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers
• Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently
