Job summary

Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, is seeking an Audit Manager for Manufacturing & Distribution to join the Audit team. You will lead multiple client engagements and ensure high-quality financial statements, in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires CPA, 5+ years in public accounting, and a strong MD background. Aprio offers remote and hybrid options, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Licensed CPA.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience in Manufacturing & Distribution or Consumer Products.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Willingness to travel 20–25%.

Responsibilities

• Conducting multiple auditing projects and client engagements.
• Effectively communicating with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, status of engagements and other matters.
• Preparation of financial statements.
• Active role in marketing our firm services resulting in new business.
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Traveling 20-25% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting multiple auditing projects and client engagements
• Effectively communicating with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, status of engagements and other matters
• Preparation of financial statements
• Initiating an active role in marketing our firm services resulting in new business
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
• Traveling 20-25% of the time

Qualifications:

• Developed specialties in Manufacturing & Distribution and Consumer Products
• 5-year bachelor's degree in accounting
• Master's degree preferred
• Licensed CPA
• 5+ years of experience working for a public accounting firm
• Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants
• Analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers
• Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently
