Job summary

Kemper CPA Group LLP in Paducah, Kentucky seeks an Audit Manager to supervise staff and manage multiple engagements for clients across industries. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical auditing expertise, with the opportunity to advance toward Partner.

You will mentor teams, stay current with pronouncements, analyze complex data, advise clients on accounting and audit issues, and supervise engagement work from planning through completion.

Qualifications

• Possess a CPA designation with at least 5 years of audit supervisory experience.
• Strong organization, communication, and auditing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and supervise multiple engagements and teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach staff to be more effective auditors.
• Research and share information on new pronouncements and emerging accounting and audit issues.
• Analyze and evaluate data and provide resolutions to complex problems.
• Provide strategic and tactical accounting advice and recommendations to clients.
• Consult with clients on various internal accounting related transactions.
• Train junior staff on audit and organizational procedures.
• Provide review of work product and performance.
• Be willing and able to serve multiple client engagements concurrently.
• Additional duties as assigned.
